the only babies i'm interested in anymore are the furry kind that purr. i miss reznor so much. he would have been almost all grown up by now. but i will always think of him as a tiny, fiesty chompmonster. :(

joy. i went to make my lunch (Easymac, as usual), and someone's carpet monkeys were having a wadded-up-wet-paper-towel-ball fight in the breakroom. as i said to mark, the longer i go without reproducing, the less i want to. the battery in my biological clock has apparently run down. yea!
whoever invented easymac should be given the nobel prize. pure genius!

i am so hungry. but i bet i won't get to go home after work, n will want me to drive him and his new best friend around. he was supposedly taking my car to tom's to be worked on, but since usually its just a pretext n uses to get me to let him use the car, i'm not expecting it to be done. the only way anything will get done on that car is if i take it somewhere and pay for it myself.

what a pain in the ass. i hate yahoo. i've had to find a new primary web e-mail provider, since chickmail is closing down. now i want yahoo to send my groups digest(corpgoth, budget gothtips, goth fashion) to the new e-mail address, but of course they have to make it as difficult as possible. i haven't even been getting stuff since last week, so i'm probably way behind, i'll have to read the archives.

argh! i started a new entry, and the damn thing gave me the "illegal operation" thingy and kick me off! at least it wasn't a 1000 word entry like Neil Gaiman had written before his daughter shut of his computer...speaking of which, American Gods comes out tomorrow! I read the first chapter, it was pretty cool. Wish I could afford to buy it now. But I'll have to wait til it's paperback or the sci/fi bookclub puts out an edition. xmas & my bday are so far away.....
anyway. last entry i was whining about winter... not anymore. now it's time to whine about the heat, which is rather nasty today, 90°+. we'll probably get some hellacious storms tonight. which i love. as long as we don't have a tornado, or huge hail, since my car windshield is so cracked, hail bigger than a marble would probably do it in completely. i thought we were going to get something last night. we had a little rain yesterday afternoon, then it went away. but towards sundown, stuff started building and the sky looked really freaky, the light was yellow, and the wind came up. but that's all we got, a lot of wind. tree branches down all over, a brief spattering of rain, and an incredibly beautiful lightning show.
anyway, we no longer live where we were. i am at the parents'; n is couch-surfing. allegedly he's going to treatment, but he's been saying that for over a month, and something always comes up, so it's always "tomorrow", next week, whatever.... that piece of sh*t landlord somehow managed to get a $1700+ judgment against me, which i totally don't understand. i moved out, and i was never on the lease. it's because the a-hole knows that judges around here always side with landlords, and since n has no income, they're going to gouge me for it. n allegedly hired a lawyer (with my money) to take care of it, but since every time i ask about it, i get the same old evasive change-the-subject-under-veiled-threat-of-violence routine that always accompanys any questions about money, it's probably bullshit. i'll know when i see my check.
