Pet-Abuse.Com - Dedicated to breaking the cycle of abuse though action, education, and information... This is the closest thing to a national registry of the sick f*cks that hurt animals... Too bad more of them aren't locked up. They should be. Unfortunately, the freaks usually have to hurt or kill a human before they get any real punishment.

Brief Summary of High Profile Cases of Infamous Criminals At least some of these freakshows are dead... the rest should be. Especially Barry Herbeck. I hope someone rapes him up the ass every night while he's in prison. Why this piece of sh*t is even still alive is beyond me. Maybe someone will Dahmerize him so he's never free to walk this earth again.

I wish they had found whoever did this... at least the kiki survived and is doing well... but somewhere, a psycho is going about their f'd-up way, when they should be locked up.

NBC10.com - News - Teen Girls Allegedly Tortured, Killed Kitten The one girl & her mother look like typical white trash... someone needs to fix the two little freaks before they have any children...

Arthur Magazine an indie culture mag, claims to be available at several places in Lincoln --The Coffee House, Duffy's Tavern, The Mill, Novel Idea, The Ozone, Yia Yia's, Zero Street Records -- but I can safely say I've never laid eyes on it. Too bad, it looks cool...

A Guide to Lincoln, NE on Husker Game Weekends

mmmmm a beautiful picture of one of my favorite things (sushi) - found on a fellow Lincolnite's website... unfortunately, the sushi is in Michigan... we do have good sushi here, though -- the Viking platter (I know, odd name) at Kabuki, which I had on my birthday, was well worth the $35... and Wasabi, a place downtown, also has excellent sushi

Andy's Photos :: Husker Football 2003 Some good pictures of a typical football Saturday in Lincoln -- I would have been at this game, purveying ice cream. Since my friend left the University for much, much greener pastures (A sweet gig with LandOLakes in Minneapolis), I work in the trailer down by where the players come out of the locker room. People congregate along the way (they rope off a walkway) to cheer the guys both coming out and heading back in............

Bush budget alarms GOP, angers Dems Sadly, even this probably won't wake up the sheep in this country who think the sun shines out Bush's a$$..... just another "I told you so" that will fall on deaf ears. The collective IQ of this country has dropped several notches... I guess people figure if a complete moron can become president, why bother using what little brains they have? The man is mental. He's completely out of touch with reality. He's still justifying his personal war by saying "we were attacked." But NOT BY IRAQ. He hasn't even caught the person responsible for 9/11... And if he thinks forcing this farcical election is going to magically make Iraq a democracy, he's even stupider than I thought (don't know if that's possible!!!)... the insurgents will just kidnap and/or assassinate whoever is "elected" -- and they'll have to "elect" more people. And who will want to risk their life or their families lives? Why can't we send Shrub over there to be their Supreme Ruler?

USATODAY.com - Cookie crumbles: Girl Scout sex furor splits Texas town Too bad Texas didn't stay an independent republic.... they could leave now, and take Bush with them -- he can be the Supreme Ruler of the Texas Republic of Moronia... all the Bible thumpers can move there and live in ignorance........

Historic Haymarket / Events - Chocolate Lovers' Fantasy mmm... this rocks -- it'll be weird this year, though, it'll just be Mom & Jen & I, before Michelle and Gudrun and Chuck have always gone, too, and one year Mike's girlfriend Rachel went too (before she moved to Amsterdam, she was still in school here at the University)

Scored big time Friday night movie-wise -- I got
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind & Before Sunset for $7 & $9, respectively (used). We ate at a new Chinese buffet Jade Rivers... it was ok, they have a real sushi bar, which was good, but the other stuff wasn't spectacular. (No sesame balls!) There's a new Mongolian grill, HuHot, out by Gateway (I refuse to call it "Westfield Shoppingtown"), that sounds really good.

Saturday, Mom & Jen & I went out to church to have our picture taken for the new directory, then we went downtown and had lunch at Yia Yia's. I almost always do "The International" - which allows you to order your sauce, cheese, and 5 other toppings (usually white sauce, provolone, garlic, artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes, broccoli), but I had the "Français" -- white sauce, bleu cheese, olive oil, & walnuts -- yum! I also introduced Mom to apricot ale... she's not much of a beer drinker, but she loved it. It's like beer-pop. It went well with the pizza. My sister, who turned 21 a little over a week ago, of course has alcohol at every opportunity - she had her first Guiness, but decided it was a bit much for her, so I had to help her drink it... talk about opposite ends of the beer spectrum...
