Bleh. Winter can go away any time now.... I knew back in December when it was so unseasonably nice that we would be paying for it eventually. And we are. I can't believe the number of morons who talk on their phone while driving in this crap. I saw 5 or 6 this morning on my way to work, and I only drive about 5 miles to work!!! What is so freaking important it can't wait 15 mins. or so?!? They need to start ticketing people for it... and adding additional charges if you commit a traffic violation or cause an accident while on the phone... if people lie about it, phone records can be checked, and then charge them with giving false information on top of it....
Got my gas bill yesterday -- almost $80! For a 2-bedroom apartment! Last month's was $42... I don't understand how it can almost double. It was really cold last month, but I never turn my heat up over 65º, and I turn it down and night and when I'm not home...Labels: general whining

10-year-old girl charged in store attack

BOSTON -- A gang of girls attacked a woman at a discount store, hitting and kicking her and tearing off her clothes, said police, who arrested a 10-year-old girl accused of being involved.
The girl, who was not identified, was charged with assault and battery for kicking the 22-year-old woman in the head and stomach on Sunday, said Officer Eddy Chrispin.
The three other girls were not arrested, but police said they would seek criminal complaints against them. Their names and ages were not released.
The woman apparently had bumped into the 10-year-old girl in an aisle at a Target store and refused to apologize, Chrispin said. Witnesses told police the four girls then knocked the customer to the floor "where she was being hit, her hair was being ripped out, and her pants were taken off," he said.
The victim was treated at a hospital.
