It's that time again --Mojo the Mighty Bunnyslayer had another bunny this morning, but this one was still alive, and as far as I could tell, reasonably unhurt.... I made him drop it on the front porch, and it scampered away and hid behind the chiminea. I don't know why he keeps trying to bring them into the house! He knows I take them away. So I made him go in the house, and got the Swiffer to try and shoo the bunny out & off the porch. Instead, it went behind the stuff in front of the window. I finally got him flushed out, and he scampered off the far end of the deck, but it attracted Chongy's attention, so he started chasing it. So I ran around the front and whacked Chongy with the Swiffer. Then the stupid bunny went under the porch. I yelled and yelled at Chongy to come out, but of course he wouldn't. So I picked up a rock, meaning to bean Chong with it, to distract him. It bounced off of something, but apparently, it attracted his attention and he ran out from under the porch to check it out, so I grabbed him and took him in the house. Then I was all all out of breath, and needed to get going to work. Mo went out when I left, and he was sniffing around the porch. I hope the bunny ran off during the time Mo was in the house... I can only do so much. If the bunny is that dumb, it won't live long anyway.

Day of The Dead Skull Top - Photo This is sooooo cool! I love how you can't tell it's a skull until you look at it closely... it's the kind of thing that you'd be wearing and normals would say "What a pretty shirt!' Then they would look closer and freak out.

Nebraska Republican Party apparently, the Republicans are too busy out spending money to steal elections to bother working on their site, since almost every link is "coming soon" -- I wanted to e-mail them and tell them what a scumbag Jim Haga (the chairman) is ... he's like a bitchy jr. high school girl, sending gloating e-mails to Terry Werner after the election. Fortunately, he's leaving (going to Colorado, he ought to be right at home, he can hang out with the Coors family and Gary Barnett, they ought to have a lot in common...) but I'm sure they'll find another fascist a-hole more than willing to take the job, like that a-hole Scott Stewart -- observe his wifey, with her glazed Lara-Bushbot-esque smile......

So we went to that thing at SE Saturday -- I was kind of bummed, I only saw one person from our class (that I recognized, anyway)-- Kevin Kaufman. I didn't talk to him, though. Jim Hanna was there, I didn't get a chance to talk to him either. None of the teachers I wanted to talk to were there, either. I was hoping Brendon Sibley or Rob McEntarfer would be there, since they both teach there now, but they weren't, either.
The only person I did talk to was, of all people, superdork Keith Rockefeller. He had his frumpy wife (looking much like a younger version of Lydia) and his 2 equally (un)attractive chldren. He hasn't changed at all except his hairline is receding and he's got an fratboy beerbelly (although I doubt it was caused by beer). I was looking at old copies of the Clarion from our sophmore year, and there was an article about Kevin Koci, and I said something about him being dead. Then Keith said, "Didn't someone from your class off himself?" I said "Todd was the last person I ever though would do something like that" and the creep said, "Oh, I don't know about that" in that know-it-all way he has. It really pissed me off, as if he knew Todd better than I did. Thankfully, Nick called me, and he sidled off to talk to someone else. UGH!
It's weird how many of the businesses that advertised in the Clarion are gone now -- Dirt Cheap, Pickles, Pontillo's.... I did see the JA thingy listing the award winners for that year, though, I'd forgotten about Michie being named Outstanding Young Businesswoman....
