I made white cheddar mac & cheese for supper last night (Kraft box mix)... and it seemed a bit bland to me... and I wondered if it was mostly psychological, since years of eating regular Kraft has conditioned me to prefer bright orange m&c -- in fact, it's so culturally ingrained, Crayola even has a crayon named after it.... In Lincoln Public Schools, Friday used to be the only day we got chocolate milk... and it was also mac & cheese or tuna sandwich day... to this day, I tend to drink chocolate milk when I have m&c or a tuna sandwich.

D'oh! I had a 12-pack of Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper in my trunk, and of course it froze, and 2 of the cans exploded... I went out to get a soda this morning, and discovered the mess... the good thing is, it was still frozen, so I was able to take the stuff out of the trunk, take out the carpet, and shake the stuff off. If I had discovered it later, it might have melted and been really gross. I had it in there because if I keep it in the house, my sister drinks most of it. I should get one of those styrofoam coolers, that way if another one exploded, it would be contained better.
